I’m a traveler.

As a child, I moved to the United States from Brazil and remember that initial and total immersion into a new world: it was scary but thrilling at the same time. And when I found the beloved Travel Channel host, Samantha Brown, she instantly became my goddess. The woman was paid to roam the world and I dreamed to be her on the other side of the TV screen. Because of a complicated immigration background, I did not start traveling well into my adulthood. I even worked at a travel startup creating itineraries to cities I’d never been to (and I LOVED it!). Today, I am fortunate to say I no longer have to admire the world through an atlas or re-runs of Samantha Brown, but get to see it with my own eyes.

While having traveled extensively in the last few years, I still experience everything with a sense of wonder and take nothing for granted. I have learned that travel doesn't need to be exotic to be filled with discovery; anywhere and everywhere can be an adventure. I want to share that wonder with you.
